On the 17th of January 2019, the Meeting of the 13th Insurance Forum Advisory Board took place at The Sheraton Warsaw Hotel. Over the two hours, experts from the insurance sector talked about issues that will be included in the spring agenda of the event. The Chairman of the Advisory Board, Artur Olech, gave direction to the discussions, during which two topics were discussed for the inaugural part and six topics to be implemented during the Insurance Forum.
The Banking Forum will be, invariably, the duet for the Insurance Forum, which together form the Meeting of Banking and Insurance Leaders. The common part will address the subject of cross-border activity in Poland and its impact on the financial market. Speakers will also reflect on the issue of security, but not on the part of regulation, but from the perspective of new technologies and user behaviour.
As part of the substantive debates and vivid presentations, the Insurance Forum will address, among others, the issues of digitization and the impact of motorization on the development of insurance. There will also be a cross-border topic, but this time in the context of competition. During the event, there will also be a space for conversation under the slogan “war for talents”, understood better as keeping an employee rather than merely acquiring one. An interesting topic which gained a lot of support among members of the Advisory Board turned out to be the issue of products for the silver generation. A look at the longevity of life will concern not only pension products, but also services related to care, health or technical assistance for the elderly.
The detailed substantive scope of the 13th Insurance Forum will be presented soon.
